The tourism rent a car firm invested 1,8 millions in a move to get closer to AVE fast train users
GoldcarRental have expanded their presence in Madrid and Valencia. The leading tourism rent a car firm has opened two new offices nearby the AVE railway stations in both cities in a move to increase the services available to fast train users by simplifying their transfers.
Goldcar has invested over €1,800,000 altogether in both new openings: around €150,000 in the adaptation of the new premises and over €1,650,000 in purchasing a new, modern vehicle fleet with eco-friendly features.
The new branches have resulted in the creation of seven new positions and an additional 25 indirect jobs.
Goldcar group, who already have offices nearby Madrid and Valencia airports, will be duplicating their offering in these cities since this month, in a move to get closer to two of the most important AVE railway stations in Spain due to the high number of passengers.
Since January 2013, Goldcar have opened five new offices in Spain: in addition to the new offices opened in Valencia and Madrid, they have also opened new branches in Malaga, Seville and Alicante.
Goldcar Rental has held a prominent, leading position within the tourism vehicle rental market for several years. Their expansion policy in Spain, Portugal and Italy has contributed enormously to this development. The company currently has 44 own offices spread across the most important tourism destinations, 9 of which are located in Portugal and Italy.
Goldcar has over 32,000 vehicles and 70% of their fleet is renewed yearly. The company has already created 650 direct jobs.
